The commissioning of a photovoltaic installation at CMP Automotive Antivibration facility in Logroño during 2024 has achieved an average self-consumption of 14.3% of total plant electricity consumption, which constitutes a significant step towards a more responsible and environmentally friendly energy model.
CMP Assembly Abrera S.L. has reduced during 2024 single-use packaging with its providers by 150 tons, which means a 15% improvement compared to previous year 2023.
In 2023, CMP Automotive Antivibration Spain S.L. plant, internal plastic consumption has been reduced by 19% as a result of the actions implemented to reduce its use.

During 2022, CMP Automotive Assembly Abera S.L. Manufacturing Plant has reduced the amount of single use packaging by 45%, through the introduction of returnable packaging into the suppliers´ circuit.
In 2021, CMP Automotive Antivibration Spain S.L. Manufacturing Plant has achieved consumption reduction of electrical energy of 13,5 % per production unit in relation to previous year 2020 as results of implementation of improvements in his production system.
During 2021, CMP Automotive Assembly Abrera S.L. Manufacturing Plant, has reduced plastic material wastes in 9 % related to previous year 2020 as result of actions taken on single-use packaging.
In 2020, CMP Automotive Antivibration Spain, S.L. manufacturing plant has achieved a consumption reduction of electric energy of 8.3 % per production unit in relation to last year as result of investments in environmental improvement actions.
In 2019, CMP Logroño Manufacturing Plant reduce the water consumption in 8.7 % from previous year as result of investments in environmental actions . This improvement is significant considering that in 2019 a new surface treatment line was added in manufacturing process.
Caucho Metal Productos has bought 4 rotated multi-station machines of last generation technology of machine leader manufacturer REP . These machines will be installed at the excellence Manufacturing Plant in Spain during 2019. Last November 7th held the open ceremony of New Technical Centre in Suzhou China that was attended by CMP Board, CEO, Technical Centres , Plants and Sales Management with presence of Customers, Suppliers and Local Authorities. New Technical Centre extends 3000 m2 and have a complete facilities for development including a dynamic machine for testing up to 700 Hz and a semi-anecoic large chamber for noise tests. 17 Development Engineers work in This Technical Centre . The New Manufacturing Plant is capable to produce according to the increased volumes planned for next years Manufacturing workshop surface of 7000 m2 and warehouse of 3000m2

CMP Chinese manufacturing plant is located in this distric. Our Colleague Julio Fernandez Ceniceros Dr. Engineer – Finite Element Analysis - attended on March 2017 the courses of Endurica LLC in order to upgrade our current methods with the latest advances in Durability Prediction of Rubber Components.
The courses “Characterizing Elastomer Fatigue Behaviour for Analysis and Engineering” and “Theory and Application of Rubber Fatigue Analysis with Endurica CL” took place at Leartiker facilities (Markina-Xemein, Spain). Theoretical analysis and lectures were combined with live lab demos and hands-on exercises focused on processing and interpreting experimental measurements of fatigue behavior.
The instructor, Dr. William Mars, is the founder and CEO of Endurica and an internationally acclaimed authority on the topic of damage mechanics in elastomers. He brings to his lectures two decades of experience developing product testing and simulation methods in the rubber industry, as well as experience teaching graduate courses as an adjunct professor at the University of Toledo (Ohio, USA).
The knowledge acquired through these courses will enhance current methods for the estimation of fatigue life in rubber components since the first stages of design. These cutting-edge methodologies will shorten design loops offering our customers optimized rubber components.
