Along his history, CMP AUTOMOTIVE Group has continuously progressed following as main strategy lines the growing in development capability, the product diversification and the international expansion. These are derived from the Group Values that always have been the excellence search and the permanent innovation to be a reference customer for our Clients.

CMP AUTOMOTIVE Group history begins in 1967 with the familiar company PERMOLCA manufacturing sealing profiles in Logroño – La Rioja ( España) . As first diversification in automotive and rubber industries, in 80 s decade last century, were created the company CAUCHO METAL PRODUCTOS CMP dedicated to antivibration products (AVS) manufacturing and the company PERPLASTIC manufacturing plastic compounding for automotive electrical cables coats. Later, during the first years of XXI century, is set up the company PERTECA that follows the initial business of sealing systems . In this period, it is also established the company MONTAJES ABRERA dedicated to JIT (“Just In Time”) assemblies located near SEAT plant in Martorell – Barcelona.

From the beginning , all Divisions have been progressing in a a continuous growing. International expansion began with a Manufacturing Plant in Brazil a the end of last century and followed in the first decade of XXI century with new manufacturing plants in Sibiu ( Romania) and in Suzhou (China) .This expansion continued in the second decade of XXI century creating the antivibration manufacturing plant in Mexico and adding later the JIT assembly operations to reinforce the presence in America.

Regarding to development capability, in the same strategy as manufacturing capability, CMP AUTOMTOIVE Group experience a continuous growing that has transformed the initial local small organization in a global international structure. In 2012 the Group structure is modified creating a Head Quarter company that includes also the reference Technical Center in Logroño - La Rioja Spain . Two years later, a Technical Office is opened in Koblenz Germany to support the collaborative tasks with Clients Technical Centers. In 2016 the expansion continues creating a Technical Center in Suzhou China Recently, actions to establish a new Technical Center in Michigan USA are being taken.

As a result of this evolution throughout its history, CMP AUTOMOTIVE is now a group that is consolidated as a global organisation with more than 1200 employees all over the world and production plants spread over 3 continents and a highly qualified Technical Centres with an international presence
